Liwi was born as the crown princess of a kingdom allied with the White Swan Academy’s region. Her childhood was typical for royalty—etiquette lessons, diplomatic training, and an emphasis on being the ”perfect princess.” From age four, she trained as a ballerina and showed genuine talent, eventually being considered a prodigy.
At eight years old, a political betrothal was arranged between Liwi and the young prince of a neighboring territory. The children were introduced with the expectation that they would grow close over the years and eventually marry to secure an alliance between their kingdoms.
For seven years, Liwi believed she was in a fairy tale romance.
Her betrothed was attentive, charming, and constantly reminded her how ”special” she was. He attended her ballet recitals, remembered her favorite things, and made her feel like the center of his world. She trusted him completely.
No one noticed she was being groomed.
Around age eleven, her betrothed discovered forbidden texts in his family’s library—books detailing dark rituals, summoning practices, and the creation of Warlocks. He became obsessed with obtaining this power, but the rituals required a specific component: a willing participant with strong magical potential.
He spent years cultivating Liwi’s trust and affection specifically to use her.
The manipulation was gradual and deliberate:
By the time Liwi was fifteen, she had participated in numerous rituals without fully understanding their purpose, believing they were shared secrets between lovers.
The final ritual was meant to sacrifice Liwi’s magical essence to grant her betrothed Warlock powers. She was never meant to survive as anything more than an empty vessel.
But it didn’t go as he planned because the entity summoned during the ritual rejected his terms. Instead of accepting Liwi as a sacrifice, it offered her a different deal—all the power her betrothed sought, in exchange for her broken trust and shattered innocence.
In that moment, Liwi saw the truth: every smile, every kindness, every ”I love you” had been calculated manipulation. Seven years of her life had been a lie designed to make her walk willingly into her own destruction.
